Twisted Form was created in 3DS MAX and, as with all of my work, both digital and tradtional, my influence is the works of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Jean Arp and Don Frost. Twisted Form, like all of my work, is an exercise in pure non-objective organic form. My process is to begin with a single primitive object and apply deformations to it until I have acheived a form that pleases my aesthetic sense. There is no attempt to depict or represent any real world references, as my objective is the creation of formal beauty. My own particular aesthetic tends to gravitate toward assymetrical form, so I resist creating forms that are too geometric or symetrical. My feeling is that the most pleasing forms are organic shapes
