This sculpture was inspired by Extrude Hone's ProMetal process, which uses steel powder sintering followed by bronze infiltration to produce very strong parts.  The excellent support for undercuts and enclosures makes possible all kinds of things not previously thought of.

As to the design, I'd prefer to let the piece speak for itself.  Its sweeping lines, interpenetrating volumes, and intense focus make it my strongest work of this year -- so far!
